The foot doesn't just hold us up: it's also a constant source of information for the nervous system. Through its receptors, the body “knows” how it is standing and adjusts its posture to stay balanced. That idea is the basis of postural insoles.

How are they different from a conventional insole?

A conventional insole usually focuses on supporting or mechanically correcting the way the foot bears weight. A postural insole, by contrast, aims to stimulate specific points of the foot so that the body itself reorganises its posture. It's a somatosensory approach: we work with the information the foot sends to the brain.

When can they help?

  • Foot pain related to the way you walk, such as plantar fasciitis or metatarsalgia.
  • Knee or back discomfort related to posture.
  • A feeling of imbalance or recurring overload.

Always after a postural study

Each insole is custom-designed after a postural and biomechanical study. That way we know what your body needs and can monitor how it responds.
